Cool crossbows! Very well crafted and great looking wood combo and finish. Both kids and adults will enjoy them. Great job and thanks for the plans!

I've never seen anything like this before and seriously don't know...neat idea and nice timber used!

What kind of finish is on the timber?

Thanks for posting. I have been struggling with ideas for xmas. Think I'll print the plans and make a few myself.

Knowing me, I'll try to fgure out how to add a laser pointer to it:wink:

Yes they fire the marsh mellows as far as 50 feet, but not so accurate. It shows one being fired in the video and it is no exaggeration. The ones I have seem to shoot very high. Up close you would not want to get hit in the eye with one.

I used what I had in scraps for timber. Ash, oak, purpleheart, yellowheart, and some rose wood. They are sprayed with lacquer. Shellac, or anything would work.
