I had to set up the lathe and turn something. It's just a piece of 2x2 that I tried out some skew work on, but damn it was fun!

The wife is going to kill me when she gets home, but I don't care! I had to do it!

Thanks. It's not on the most sturdiest of table, so I kind of had to chase it around while I was first turning. Makes concentration very difficult! :biggrin:

I have had similar problems, though not turning related.:wink:

Oh, by the way... congratulations on a fine mess of wood shavings!
Your wife is just gonna love the stuffings out of you, no doubt.:biggrin:

I have a few turnings like that around also. BTW, just use a quick release clamp on 2 of the legs where the feet go to hold it to the table.

That is a nice looking thing-a-ma-bob. How are you going to incorporate it
into the custom auto interior that the book in the photo suggests you are working on?

It's actually a dohickey widget which goes in my flux capacitor on my Delorean.
