Concava Pen Clip

Is there a secret to keep the clip closed tight on the Concava pen.. If the pen filler has something to do.. I had to press the transmission in pretty far just to get the tip out..

Any help will be appreciated.

I don't think it would have to do with the transmission, which is on the bottom barrel.

There is a screw to adjust the tension of the spring that closes the clip. You have to take the top half off the transmission and access the screw by inserting a screw driver in through the opening ... it's probably a Philips #0 or #1 screwdriver.

Thanks Mal I found it not long after asking the question. Then I got busy and forgot to post that I had the problem solved.....
