Ilikewood-
I tried to envision it long grain and it seemed like it would berather boring.
It was an attempt made with much trepidation.
I used a rounded skew to rough it and shape it,also an angled skew.
The diamond stone never left my side.
I did use thin CA for stabilization.
There were a few tear outs that did not effect the final product.
I will drill and stabilize the next one.
As far as turning, this pen took much longer than any other I've done.
I think my first corn cob was easier and faster.
Thanks for the turning tips
Now,which kind of palm is it,anyone know?
