I wanted to try making another closed end pen so I grabbed a piece of pecan wood and got to turning, this was the result. I liked the feel, I liked the way it wrote, and I liked the way it turned out. Now my other half is enjoy it... Oh well.

Pecan wood on SPW classic vintage. Finish with shellawax. C & C's welcomed.

Scott thank you.

No i used a adjustable mandrel with a pen mill sleeve on it for support. When I cut the blank I cut it a little long so I can use the excess and my live center as support. when I was don with the pen I cut off the excess and applied finish to the closed end.
