I got my Fangar pin chuck for the Jr Gent/Jr Statesman yesterday. I haven't used it yet, but thought I would show a couple of pix of closed end Barons made with, you guessed it, my other Fangar pin chuck. Comments welcome.

Thanks to all. However, I just got an email from the buyer that commissioned the Baron and he decided he would rather have a Bocote Churchill. Guess I will enjoy having the pen myself for a bit longer.

OK, I'll be the "different" one again...I really like the shape of the bocote. The blank is also stunning, and the fit and finish are, as expected, first-rate. The finish on the black rose is also beautiful!

William,
Very nice, both of them. I hope to try my first baron this week. Well, my first successful one. I got the pin chuck for it too, but have to get a few nice barons under my belt before I try it.
