Few days ago.
Not sure where Emerson got the timber from, but I think it was part of a trade with someone for some SpaltedPecan(maybe?). And he was kind enough to share some! The timber had the words "Black Limba", now all I could find out about it was that it's used for musical instruments(although I don't know what kind). I do know it sure turns nice and finishes great!
Of course, it's a semi-closed end, thinking I'm liking this 'curve' body. Already sold! Gotta love that!
Finished with 3 coats thinCA and 9 coats of mediumCA, pretty colored pads through 12K, PlastixPolish'd and one coat of wax.
