The retro is my favorite pen that I make. Some think it is gaudy or just out dated but to me the retro has a high styled look to it comparing it to a Jr Gent just makes the gent look generic. OK enough of my personal feelings on pen parts. :biggrin:
I matched this one up with one of my self cast black and gold swirled wonderland of fun. Sanded through all of the pretty colored pads and finished with Novus.

I agree with you on the kit. I much prefer the Retro over the Gent Jr and especially the platings offered by Lau Lau.

The shape of your pen also appeals to me. Just a hint of a curve gives it a real classy look. The blank is not too shabby either . Great looking pen.
