Just foolin around with some Badger Hair Knots and Cherry. These were fun to do.

looks good carl, those brushes are real fun to make. i'm curious how you did the hole for the knot, i've always used a forstner bit, how'd you make it?

I do them the same way as you, only thing is the Knots are in MM, i go one size down in bit size and then open them up with a skew tool. Thanks for taking a peek

i bought one of the shaving brush inserts.....thought about using a decent spade bit and then using either the skew or a parting tool on it's side to get it to the proper diameter.....

when you use wood....do you seal the entire piece beffore you glue in the brush? i would think that wood would have ill effects overtime

i use mug and brush everyday......can't wait to change to this one
