I dont like click pens. I have had trouble with them in the past. However, with that said I did make quite a few of the vertex click, they sold well and only one broke because the owner was carrying it in his front pants pocket and bent it all to heck and back. I couldn't fix it so I just made him another one. All others I have trouble with. As for the twist pens I tend to shy away from the nib twists and go for the finial twist kits. Just seem more reliable to me.

I did a few of both. I work at a hospital and the Nurses like the clicks. They don't have a hand free for the twist or they don't want to put it in their pocket without closing it first.

Really depends upon pen kit, plating, blank selection, and finish. Dependability goes back to person making the pen and person using the pen.

If you are giving away pens, people will take anything you give them. I found given a choice between free twist & click pen, click pens win.

If you need help with a specific kit, somebody here should be able to help you.
