Got this awesome clear lucite from pipemakers. WAY better than the Jedi stick I had - very easy to turn.

Getting better at slow drilling, but it's still scorched a little. I just need a sharper bit for this, too. Mine are pretty awful.

Clip from indy pen dance. AWESOME! It will have a #6 two tone medium instead of broad, but my nibs haven't come in yet. :)

A lot of that in the barrel is moisture though. It's not too burnt up. :)

Got a tip for ya, to try on the next one.

When I made some special order medical components (I forget what they were called) I made them out of acrylic, and we had to polish the inside diameters of the drilled holes, I used a hardwood dowel and cut a slit in it and wet sanded with W/D sandpaper held in the slit, then i used a cotton swatch with toothpaste to finish polish, it was a real pain but it came out almost completely transparent.

Maybe that would work to make a transparent pen. :wink:
