I've begun what I hope will be a series of experiments with pen boxes

Here is a wood cigar box with a cut down pen tray

There used to be a tobacco shop near the capital in Madison Wisconsin. They always sold their empty cigar boxes. Most of them were priced for around $5.00. Unfortunately they closed. Sure do love those boxes. Lots of useful things to do with them.
