Cigar case

has anyone ever made a single tube cigar case our of wood? They are much bigger than pens and I wouldn't have the vaguest idea of how to go about it. Any other cigar smokers out there that have any idea.

Couple of problems with the idea. First, cigars are fragile and would get destroyed by a wood container. You might be able to beat this with some sort of soft lining. Second, cigars come in lots of different sizes. Your cigar case might fit one size, but another. Most cigar smokers favor one size, but smoke lots of different sizes.

A nice display-type box for a desk top would be cool. You could make 5 or 6 slots for cigars with a felt lining. The box would need to seal well or the cigars would dry out pretty quickly.
