I guess I should be asking those who own this Rikon lathe. Which chuck to you use. I'm hoping to get a new chuck next year and I would like to know which one to get. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a Nova G3 that I,m really happy with I'm still kinda new at turning just have done pens but really want to try doing a bowl but really don't know how to get it setup wood grain direction all that.

I have had better success with the better quality chucks. Oneway, Nova, Record, Vicmark, Easy Chuck, and the like. They handle the use and abuse and keep working.
The cost savings with the "value" chucks that gave grief done the road that was not worth the lower cost.

Nova g3. Oneway talon or vicmarc or EWT if you want to spend more $$$. All are good.
