FYI this issue (Nov) of WOOD magazine has an article on turning a a Christmas ornament. This is the 1st turning article that I have seen in WOOD. Thought you might use some of BigRobb's wood.

Didn't they have an article on that Hollywood guy (William H. Macy) turning a thin wall bowl last year? [?]

Could have Bob, I dropped my subscription for several months before picking it back up. I also realize that it is primarily a flat work mag but it sure would be nice to see a simple turned project in every issue. Just to give a little variation. IMO
