Christmas ornament from briar stems

I was playing around tonight and a couple of the briar pipes that were too short got my attention. This is the result. The center accent it desert ironwood.

Very nice. My wife is a tinntinabulist (bell collector) and would flip over that. I tried turning her a bell once. The end result requires a good imagination to figure out it is a bell. My talent for visulation is about a minus 2 on a 1 to 10 scale. From now on, I'll have to use templates to get the right shape. Nice choice of woods and excellent execution there.
