Choice of Glue

I have been wondering what the best glue to use when segmenting pens using some of the alternate materials I have read about. When I glue my pen tubes in I use Gorilla Glue. It works great if you dont mind waiting for the cure time. When I segment my blanks with alternate wood, I use normal wood glue.

When segmenting altenate materials.. i.e, resins or old credit cards etc, do most people just use CA? I am expecting to hear that most everyone but me uses CA for everything they do. Comments, suggestions??

I use 5 min epoxy and it has done well for me.

Ron Mc told us this last weekend that he uses only medium CA. I believe that he said he uses it on all his segmenting.

I like to use sticky glue... the non-sticky stuff always give me trouble.

I use Med. CA for my segmented pens, synthetic materials and laser-cut kits. I use Gorilla Glue for my single wood pens.

Thick CA for most, 5 min. epoxy for acrylics
