This is a dry run for a pen I am going to make using pine wood from the old Ghirardelli Chocolate Factor in San Francisco circa 1915.
This is a Triton Pen using an extended tube. I was able to find a milk chocolate blank and used acrylic paint to create the dripping chocolate look. The wood is maple. Before applying the paint, I used two coats of thin CA on the wood.
I let the paint dry for eight hours. For finishing, I started out applying three coats of thin CA and let it dry normally. I followed with 10 coats of thick CA and completed the process normally.
