Chechen Burl Baron

I built a pencil a couple of weeks ago out of this Chechen Burl and liked it enough to build this pen to go with it. Kit is from BB and is a Baron --Platinum. Now all I need to do is find a block of wood to make a desk set out of it. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Second picture much more better. [] First one is kinda washed out and does not do justice to the wood. Second is an eye-popper. Oh, and the workmanship is very fine.

Tom ----I have been getting to the shop about 4;00 am and back in the house by noon. I am sick of the heat. My BIG fan burnt up last week which ain't helping matters a bit.

THat is another example why I don't do resins or plastics.
(nothing aginst those that do, not my intention)
Why try to top a piece of wood like that?
(I wish I could afford wood like that.)
