I decided to try a "worthless wood"-esque cast. The wood was found in my backyard, a piece of crotch wood. I have no idea what kind of wood it is, but when I sliced it for the cast it had some really nice figure.

I mixed some blue and turquoise resin and threw it in the pot. I need to come up with a better solution to the floating wood. Wax paper got sucked in, forcing some of the resin out of the mold and into the pot. :mad: I have been knocking around using CA to stick it to the bottom.

Still, I can't wait to turn it into something!

I use goop for this purpose. It works a treat and doesn't stick to my silicone or UHMW molds.
