Cast Sweet Gum balls

Haven't cast anything in awhile. Tried some Sweet Gum balls that I had laying around for almost 2 years. Liquid Diamonds resin with red mica power tint. Pen kit is the Knurl Twist from Bear Tooth Woods. Made an interesting looking pen, maybe a good Halloween pen, but probably not a redo cast.

Looks good Bob! I do a lot of them in bright mica colors with good results and reception. Can be tricky getting the resin in all of those little voids. You did good!!

Thanks for the comments, I have some more that are dry, I may cast them using a lighter color mica powder and see if it comes any better.
