Cast/Dyed/Wormy Flame Box Elder Burl Cigar

Finally took time out to make a pen!

This is one of my recent batches using a color scheme I've been calling "Earth Cast". Blue dyed, with a deep jade opaque pearlized resin. I really like this blank. When the natural wood shows through with the blue and green, it looks for all the world like a satellite image of the earth.

Well, I tried, but every time I zoomed in, this one face kept showing up, some guy wearing glasses with a big poofy mustache and a Cheshire Cat grin. It was really disturbing. He kept brandishing a coffee cup at me...it said 'IHOP' or something on it... heh [}][]
