We stopped at the store yesterday and when we tried to leave, my truck wouldn't shift past neutral. I tried several times without success.
So I crawled underneath and shifted it to drive by hand.
Got home today and tore it all apart thinking it would be something on the column... nope.
I pulled on the coupler for the shift cable and it shifted, but wouldn't shift back toward park.
I traced the cable and had to remove the seat and part of the carpet and found the sheathing was broken.
Called about a new one and found out it costs $135 at one place and $190 at another. I guess I will be without a truck for a while.:frown:
