I made a second batch of harbor freight powder coat blanks. This one looks like marble to me. I used one of the blanks to dress of one of Smitty's Le Roi kits. I debated using a chrome and gun metal kit rather than this one. I think that I picked the right one.

Let me ask you a dumb question, did the PR take longer to set, using the HF powder?

No, I put it an old toaster oven at 110 to 120 degrees F. Its sets up pretty quickly. The issue for me is figuring out the right amount of powder to add. I think that I added too much on this batch becuase the blanks are super hard and verging on being too brittle to work with.

Thanks, mine set overnight.

Now I have some orange blanks with dye 'for polyester resin' that hasn't yet. The Harbor Freight stuff is almost ready to pull...
