I like the look of the cactus blanks but I am not sure how to achieve it when casting. If you have dried cactus pieces how what do you have to do to get the skeleton look in the cast pen blank?

the cholla cactus is already a skeletal piece and you cast the resin around and inside it. as you can see in the below picture, the red is what i cast and the skeleton is what the cactus looks like when you get it. it also has a hole thru the long center.

They are dead easy. You can use a vertical mold which is best, just pouring the resin in, but you can just wrap the cactus in gaffa tape as your mold if you want :biggrin:
