Cactus Manhattan (First Pen in 2 years)

So I finally made a pen after a couple of years hiatus. It's one of curtis's cactus blanks. I've had it sitting in the garage for a couple of years, and it still turned pretty smoothly. I need to make a few more before the fit gets back to where it was a couple of years ago, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. The finish is about 8 coats of thin CA. It was turned between centers and sanded from 220 up through the micro meshes. The kit is a Manhattan from craft supplies. I've got a couple of more standard kits glued up after I've finished them, I'm going to try to do a kitless again.

Its good to be back. I made a couple more pens, and hope to start my custom penmaking soon.
