I had to glue part of the pen into the tube and ended up with a little glue on the finished blank. Can anyone tell me how to remove it without dulling the finish? the blank is acrylic. Thanks for any help.
An xacto knife and VERY light touch will often peel the top coat of glue off and lessen the appearance of the squeeze out. Keep in mind, some glues work by actually melting into the plastic, basically welding the plastic.
I've honestly never had a problem with using some CA debonder to remove glue from a finished acrylic pen. No short term or long term affects. Apparently that's not a good route to take, though....
Thanks guys for the replies and ideas. I'll let you know if I come up with a solution or if I just plain screw it up. By the way, I've been lurking here for quite some time and this a great source of information. Thanks.
