ca finishing

New to pen turning.I have made several pens using a ca finish.I would like to know if there are any other materials rather than stabalized wood that the ca finish can be used on?

CA can be used on pretty much anything, but it's primary use(as a finish) is on wood - be it stabilized or not. I have also used it successfully to fill small voids in some acrylics.

I use it on woods - stabilized and not, Acrylic or antler if I an putting a decal on, I like to put it on antler - (I like to seal things that were alive!) and gator jaw.
