First time turning burmese rosewood. I've been doing a CA finish but on this one, I decided not to. I really like the look and feel of it without the CA.

Comments/Suggestions always welcomed and appreciated.

Believe it or not, but before CA this is what a LOT of pens looked like:wink: It may or may not change tone color in the wood, but that's okay...it's wood, a natural thing that is supposed to be purty all on it's own!

I say it looks dang good!!!!





Could use a little more light on the pen, or maybe a longer exposure time to get some more brightness on the pen though.......

Nice looking pen Jim! I agree with Scott a brighter image would be much better so we could all se the pen better.

Still very nice pen!

Thanks. I'm thinking that I didn't let the lights warm up enough or something. I've taken others that were brighter. I'll work on that for the next ones. Customer already picked up his pen. He loves it. Guess that is the most important thing.
