OK, with one of Peter's buffing system on the way, and a box of the best buffing wheels that money can buy --I'm ready. My question:

I understand the process and the order but where does my Ren. wax fall within the steps? Do I us it a not the carnuba? do I use it after the carnuba? Where or where has my little wax gone?

I love the stuff and see that most of you use it. With lots of people puting their fingers on my pens, it's nice to use the Ren. wax. Do I apply it on the lathe after everthing else, wipe it on by hand after? Please help. Thanks;)

I have put the Ren wax on while its on the lathe or even after I assemble the pen. Read somewhere that it helps protect the metal. Ill put one more coat on it before I sell usually. (if it has been handled alot)

After buffing, if you leave the blanks on the mandrel to buff, just reinsert on lathe and use RenWax. I usually skip the wax buffing when I am going to do this, but it can be added over the wax coat, if you wish.
