Buckeye Burl from NH

I worked on this pen for a few days. The blank was very troublesome. It is stabilized buckeye burl and it was a bear to get right. I had to make 2 of the nib ends to get it the way I wanted. I stabilized it with Cactus Juice and got the wood from Alton. The hardware is Stainless Steel from WoodCraft/Lazerlinez.

I love this pen. It is a great blank and a nice contrast with the stainless hardware. Very cool. I would be proud to carry one like that.

And I love the verses too. The most amazing concept ever written. God bless and good turning.
