A chrome Gent done in closed end form buckeye burl with 10 coats CA sanded and polished. Buckeye never gets old. On the Zens I have attempted to copy Brooks blanks. I think they look pretty good but nothing like his.

When I looked at the close-up pic of the green one and before I read your post I thought to myself, "That looks like one of Brooks' blanks". It turned out great! The buckeye pen is really nice as well.

Brian, That is a beautiful piece of wood and, as usual, you made a gorgeous pen out of it...superb finish. On the Zen's ...like another person..until I read the post....my initial reaction on the green one..... is that's one of Jonathon's Vintage series. That is a heck of a beautiful job of casting!! Doc
