OK, newbie here. I finally have everything together and I'm just about done with my first pen, you know, the $1500 one! But, it has a few bubbles. Is there anything I can do to them...like fill with CA? Or do I just trash it and start on my $1505 pen?

What kind of blank are you turning ?
Since you say bubbles I'm assuming you have an Acrylic blank or are you getting some kind of bubbles in the finish? .
If it's acrylic yes you can use ca to fill them , if they are big you could try a little sanding dust from the blank with ca to fill them.
If they are in a finish then sand down and refinish.
Save that $1500 first pen and in a year from now look at it again and see how much better you have become :D

Thank you Butch.

Yes, it is a home brew PR blank that I guess I did not agitate enough to get the air out....have not invested in the compressor yet...have 3 pressure pots though...

I'll try the CA method tomorrow and see how it goes.
