Bring Back, from the past

At last month's club meeting I won the bring back raffle ( a really nice ceramic vegetable peeler), so it was up to me to bring back something for this month.I wanted to do something I have not tried before. Looking thru my collection of Deltagrams. I found this...

So I decided to give something similar a try. Here is what I came up with.

The major change I made was not going all the way through as the plans call for then using a rubber plug on the bottom. They are made of Ash and the lines on the Pepper were burned with wire and wood.
I was super happy that they were won by a really great turner in our club and she liked them.

Hey Chris,
I did not get a close look at them. Do they shake through the P & S holes on the side or did you have an insert in the top?
I like the burning on the pepper shaker!

I have the same question.

They do shake out the side holes. I left the top closed.
