Well, were it not for the worm trails, this would have been one boring pen. I think Bradford Pear would be better used as inlays. Sanded to 600 grit, EEE and 3 coats Shellawax. Criticism and advice gladly accepted.
Yep, Bradford Pear is plain as it gets. Not much in grain or shading. I had three large trees in my yard a few years ago, wind storm took them down.
Made a few small bowls and couple pens, still boring unless you can use the knots or crotch areas.
