Boxelder Bowls

I made these two bowls from a piece of native boxelder that I cut down a couple of weeks ago. The larger one is 4"tall by approx. 6" in diameter. The smaller one is 3 1/2 " tall by approx 6" in diameter. The are from the same branch. Love the flame.

Great job, I always struggle to get good results like this with box elder. That tree does not seem to like me.

Thanks, This particular tree was an old one that had to come down because of storm damage. It stood guard in front of a farmhouse for many years. I felt that it would be a shame to just cut it down and burn it up.
