The spalted wood is beautiful and I like the grains in it. All of your projects are beautiful. I think it is great that one can rescue an old door and make it into some thing so pretty. Great job on all Fay

The bowls and bottle stopper I use a butcher block food safe finish. The seam ripper is boiled linseed oil and ca glue.

Thanks! The door was a "solid" mahogany door. As you can tell it is indeed mahogany but it is just a bunch of scraps glued together. It had a nice mahogany veneer over the top of it to make it appear as if it were one solid piece.
