Bowl Binge

I went on a natural edge bowl binge. My wife is looking for a bowl turners anonymous meeting to send me to. A little sanding and some finish and these bowls will be good to go. This wood has a natural chatoyance that will really pop with some finish. The diameters range from 8.5 to 11 inches.

I had a good sized maple come down beside my house. It was hollow at the base with an ant colony in the center. The dark areas in some of the bowls are places that surrounded the ant tunnels.
