I am making 2 pens for a brain cancer survivor celebrating 3 years of being cancer free. He asked me to make this cigar pen for his aunt. Every time I turn a piece of BOW I am reminded of how beautiful it is. I used 3 coats thin CA and 5 coats med. CA and then did wet MM all the way up. This was my 1st attempt at CA on BOW. I wiped down the blanks after turning and sanding with accelerator and I think that really helped.
Special thanks to Ed for getting me an item they don't stock in the normal inventory and then sending it to me at a decent shipping rate.
I am going to be polishing up the pen kit before I send it as you can see my finger prints on the clip.
The other pen I am doing is a Kingwood Jr Gent II Bl Ti kit. I have it done but need to touch up the CA finish on the cap. Will post pics of it when I am done. Thank you for looking!
