I'll be making a bottle opener for a friend. Any suggetions on bottle opener "kits", as in any I should stay away from or any that stand out amoung the rest... or are they all about the same?

I imagine they are all "cheap"... anyone know of a stainless steel opener?

The chrome plated Rockler bottle opener stands out among the others. It is nice and thick and heavy chrome plating than seems better than many of the others.
I bought some small, "flat blade" stainless openers from the classifieds here. They are nice, just smaller than the Rockler ones.

All I can find on Ruth's site is bottle stoppers and the eccentric chuck. Do you have a link to the bottle openers?

Don't overlook the old "paint can opener" crammed down in a turned handle hole. Those things last forever.
