Fingers crossed for the ebony John, I tend to use blackwood as a substitute for ebony nowadays. The Hickory wood looks fantastic after all those years!

The pen is lovely, the blue center really looks nice with the Ebony. If it hasn't cracked by now, it probably won't.

Jrgden, Hope the Ebony holds up. My best friend in Bangkok, makes Bagpipes for the King's Choir of players, and now uses all Blackwood, I think for that reason. Your pen looks stunning, with the Blue band. don
