I have always like the big slab look so after becoming completely fed up with my career of 23 years I quit :eek: And started playing with wood. Here are a couple of project my wife Zoe and I have made over the last couple years.

What are you using to make your slabs? Bandmill? CSM??


Been making slabs ever since I noticed how extremely high the prices were for them mostly on an LT-10, but I have been known to get the chainsaw mill going for those really big'uns!!!

Husky 3120xp CSM

Smaller stuff on a LT40 which is paid hourly. We should be getting our own BM this spring.

Picture #2 reminds me why they call it crotch wood. Looks like a pair of pants with a zipper.
