I got a message that Brian in Burlington finally got the PITH I sent him. Lateness is nobody's fault but my own, as I had forgotten he was in Canada and it would take a few more days to get over the border, and it was down to the wire getting it out as it was.

Pens are bleached Wenge (rollerball) and bleached black palm (fountain pen) and the base is spalted maple from a tree we cut down. (more details in the PITH Pairings Thread)

I had a blast making this, Learned a lot along the way and stretched myself a bit in the process, which is what I always try to do with our PITHs.

Thanks for looking, and feel free to comment!!!

Thanks for all the kind words!!

Boxerman, I drilled the block with the correct cap drill for the baron kit, cut a brass cap tube about in half, and used one half for each thread insert. I pressed the threads and centerband into the tube, then use 5 minute epoxy to glue the tube/centerband into the holes. The only reason I cut the tube in half is because of the angles they are mounted in, when the holes end they converged together. There is still enough room for the pen nibs to not touch, but the tubes would have hit each other...
