I did a show this past weekend and several shoppers asked if I had any click pens. I usually do not inventory that style but am beginning to rethink that strategy. Any suggestions as to a good set of clicker hardware? Thanks
Or are you looking for a component set?
I find that the "ball point click" pens like Woodcraft sells don't have very reliable mechanisms.
The Sierra clicks (Actually Wall Street IIs) I have done have been ok, but they don't "feel" very smooth.
I'm sure someone with more experience can answer you better.
I've done and sold many of the Long Click and the Vertex click pens. Both are very solid in the click mech. and show off your blank with the one tube design.
You can get them both from ED at exoticblanks. just my .01 worth
heres a couple Long Clicks i've done
I personally have a Long Click(several vendors carry them) for my personal writer, have been using it for over a year and a half with no issues to speak of. The best part about the kit it that there are no plastic parts in the click mechanism. And.... if you need to disassemble the pen you dont risk damaging the click mechanism since it is encased in metal
