since I posted anything, so I thought I'd throw this up. I've been playing w/antler and casings, but wanted to go beyond using SLs or Designers (which I don't really care for in 7mm). This is a satin copper Perfect Fit and 30-06 casing w/Whitetail antler. I used QS white oak on the lower tube to stretch the casing neck (sort of a press fit), but the oak compressed on me just a bit and the nib assembly is just a little proud. The shoulder on the antler where it meets the casing is not as abrupt as the photo makes it appear. Don't know why, but it looks exagerated in the pic. TSW over everything.
