Beech Bowl with pyrography. Around 8" (20cm) across. Finished with Bush oil and Polyurethane. Continuing my exploration of Zentangle (R) Inspired Art. Trying a new pattern.

I'm going to be a stick in the mud.... I like the bowl, shape and color... maybe I'm a purist or some other negative description, but I would have liked the bowl without the Pyrography... I think it detracted from your skill as a turner.

Fantastic bowl! Like the wood, shape and the thinness of it. The burning created a nice accent to it.
