Some days ago I got back from my vacation in Argentina, a few things that I learned:
1. A "small" filet steak (Bife de Lomo) was 480 grams, or 17 ounces (!!)
the bigger one is 760 grams or a tad shy of 27 oz
2. Their steak knifes are not serrated, the meat is superbly tender...
3. Best rum still comes from Cuba: Havana Club Anejo 7 years...
4. Eva Peron is still deeply loved, and bus loads of people are stopping by her final resting place daily... not only old ones, but a lot of young ones.
5. The Argentine people are great!
