Artisan Zen Magnetic Failure

The first pen I turned was a magnetic Zen. I kept it as my desk pen because, well, it looks like a first pen. Today the magnetic ring came out of the cap.

I'm sure I can glue it back in without any problem, but I'm glad I didn't give this particular one as a gift.

Just wondering if this is common with this model?

That's surprising. I've made many of these and never had that happen.

I have made about 300 zens through the years and have had that happen about 5 times. not a bad percentage and a simple fix ( epoxy is best)
