Has anyone tired and/or been successful making an arrow shaft pen using a mechanism for a parker-style refill or even a rollerball refill? Just curious because I really, really hate the way cross refills write. Thanks.

I fitted a camo arrow shaft over an Atlas and then coated with PR and turned to finish. Came out OK. I couldn't find a graphite shaft to fit anything like a cigar or similar. Tubes were just too narrow. (here in South Africa anyways)
