I like to do wood goblets and wine glasses with wood stems... these are two new goblets I turned on Friday with my first ever captive ring.... an interesting process.

The goblets are all just under 9 inches tall and just under 3 inches diameter and turned from Teak.

Nicely done, and well matched.

Since Teak is fairly oily, I imagine they are nicely waterproof, but are they usable without the Teak Oil disrupting the taste of any beverage in them?

Very nice looking goblets !!! Be a little careful with Teak. The dust is a skin irritant, and some teak smells more than others. Jim S
